Aim of this work is the characterization of the neutron field in several irradiation facilities of the TRIGA MARK II reactor of the University of Pavia. The method used for the measurement of the neutron spectrum is based on an unfolding technique which allows to determine the neutron energy distribution and the flux intensity having as input the reaction rate values of thin targets irradiated in the neutron field. The results of the unfolding process are compared with the results of simulations of the irradiation set-up realized using the Monte Carlo code MCNP4b.

Abstract
