The design of a novel carrier able to perform selective electron transport across liq. membranes is described. The three-phase device allows to oxidize metal centered redox agents with aq. peroxydisulfate. With the help of a kinetic control the device makes the very strong and non-selective oxidizing agent peroxydisulfate to discriminate amongst a mixt. of different reducing agents of varying power.
