In this work we have considered the electroretinographic tracing, achieved with the same stimulating parameters making use of four different types of electrodes: corneale, gold-foil, palpebral and DTL. We have estimated the a and b waves amplitudes and we considered the mean±ds for each tracing executed with the same electrodes. The corneal electrode let we record the biggest amplitude wave. The DTL, gold-foil and palpebral electrode tracing gave us a lower amplitude. To obtain comparable clinical results we calculated conversion factors for the tracing amplitudes recorded with the different types of active electrodes.
