The present study was conducted to determine the mineralogy composition and firing temperatures of 12 ceramic samples related to vascular phase used by the whole community of the early and middle Bronze Age, settlement in a cave in Sardinia south-west (Italy). The analysis was conducted through a multidisciplinary approach that sees the macroscopic observation, thin section petrographic analysis, the X-ray diffraction, FTIR analysis and neutron activation (INAA). The purpose of this research was to define within the set of shapes pottery found in archaeological context possible forms fall into one or more workshops, checking whether within the same store, you can distinguish the use of different technologies that can be correlated to the artifact that was realized;the mineralogical characterization and the study of the geological basin, in which is inserted the archaeological context, has allowed the possible areas of supply of raw material.
