A bilingual study (English-French) carried out by the History of Administration Working Group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences on the topic of “Administration and Crisis Management: the case of wartime”. This study includes a comparative overview of the Group’s work followed by ten country studies (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden and the United States). The contributors focus on the case of wartime administrations in both World War I and World War II.
