IL PERCORSO DELLE CURE PALLAITIVE DOMICILIARI NEL PAZIENTE AFFETTO DA MALATTIE NEURODEGENERATIVE DEL MOTONEURONE

In the world of palliative cares, the neurodegenerative motor neuron diseases (NMND) show specific features and complexity respect other diseases. This means that a specific welfare path may be created. By the experience of care and healthy assistance of the patient affected by NMND at their own home, the study has as primary goal the ambition to propose a model of clinical home healthcare assistance that is focused on the patient, that may reinforce the link between specialistic centre and home assistance and that may be sustainable. During this path, another goal is to identify cut-off and markers that may be used to reveal the right moment in which Palliative Care become a need for the patients.

Nell’ambito delle cure palliative, le malattie degenerative e neuromuscolari (MDN) presentano peculiarità e complessità uniche rispetto alle patologie internistiche di più comune riscontro. Ne consegue la necessità di un percorso terapeutico assistenziale specifico. Attraverso l’esperienza della cura e dell’assistenza al paziente affetto da Malattie Degenerative e Neuromuscolari, lo studio ha come primo obiettivo quello di proporre un modello di percorso delle cure palliative domiciliari che privilegi la centralità del paziente, favorisca la rete ospedale-territorio e sia sostenibile. All’interno di tale percorso si vogliono inoltre individuare gli indicatori utili ad identificare i tempi ed i cutoff della necessità di presa in carico in Unità di Cure Palliative Domiciliari (UCP-DOM).
