After some introductory remarks on the meaning of ‘paratext’ as it relates to this kind of exegetical literature (F. Montana), the volume offers eight contributions dealing with papyri of Homer, drama (?), Alcman, Virgil (S. Barbantani) and Medieval manuscripts of Homer (C. Castelli, M. Comunetti, G. Pascale), Aeschylus (M. Ercoles), Aristophanes (L. Fiorentini), Callimachus (S. Cutuli), and Theocritus (E. Bianchi). In the second section, some electronic outputs developed in the framework of the project are presented: three digital tools (F. Montana, C. Meliadò & L. Pagani, F. Filograsso & C. Neri) and a virtual exhibition of manuscripts from the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan (A. Porro). The final remarks are by R. Tosi and F. Montanari.
