On the basis on the results of a large survey on European graduates, the paper address the changes in the working environment of European graduates, and the relationship between these changes and the issue of flexibility. It focuses both on graduate labour market and on graduates’ workplace. Within graduate labour market the most relevant change graduates experience in their early career concerns the change of employers, while the second more important change that European graduates experience in their early career refers to changes in work tasks within their workplace.
