The relationship between the complexity of the survey instrument and complexity of the object under investigation is a matter of reflection by many users of GIS (and not only). The enrichment of the debate, through the contribution of new case studies, is, however, a trend that should never run out, especially where such cases are considered in an interdisciplinary perspective, which has two specific purposes. On the one hand, the construction of teaching models (sort of proto-Teaching Units) adaptable to different levels of education and various types of GIS. On the other hand, the introduction of new lymph into the debate on the meaning and purpose of Geostoria (Geo-History; definition prevailing in reforms, programs and thematic units, various and variously assorted); this is a discipline with an humanistic lexical appearance, but needs (and will require more and more) to make use of case studies and skills from “landscape architecture”.

Abstract
The relationship between the complexity of the survey instrument and complexity of the object under investigation is a matter of reflection by many users of GIS (and not only). The enrichment of the debate, through the contribution of new case studies, is, however, a trend that should never run out, especially where such cases are considered in an interdisciplinary perspective, which has two specific purposes. On the one hand, the construction of teaching models (sort of proto-Teaching Units) adaptable to different levels of education and various types of GIS. On the other hand, the introduction of new lymph into the debate on the meaning and purpose of Geostoria (Geo-History; definition prevailing in reforms, programs and thematic units, various and variously assorted); this is a discipline with an humanistic lexical appearance, but needs (and will require more and more) to make use of case studies and skills from “landscape architecture”.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
