The article describes the project developed by Group 1 of the International Workshop I_AM_Duomo, including students from the University of Pavia (Italy), the THM of Giessen (Germany) and the Universidad Central of Santiago (Chile). The idea of the group proposes an elevator and a steel structure to create a new path on the roof top of the Duomo, able to overcome the barriers for mobility impaied people. The architectural solutions are developed with multisensorial devices in order to improve the accessibility also for visually impaired visitors.
