Abstract
Elastic scattering is probably one of the most relevant tools to study nuclear interactions. In this contribution we study the domain of applicability of microscopic two-body chiral potentials in the construction of an optical potential. A microscopic complex optical potential is derived and tested performing calculations on 16 O at different energies. Good agreement with empirical data is obtained if a Lippmann-Schwinger cutoff at relatively high energies (above 500 MeV) is employedFile in questo prodotto:
