Abstract
In their famos book "The Evolution of Physics" Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld gave paramount importance to Volta's battery in the development of physics. For the functioning of a "Voltaic cell", they assumed the modern electrochemical theory and this circumstance is taken as the starting point to present Volta's different conception of a "Voltaic cell" and to stress the historical framework in which notions such as that of the "Voltaic cell" must be placed to be meaningful.File in questo prodotto:
