The paper present the recent results of the excavations at Nigde-Kinik Hoyuk as representative of the reorganization of social and political complexity in south Central Anatolia in the aftermath of the fall of the Hittite Empire. The results are set in the context of the recent theoretical debate on hte concepts of collapse and resilience. Advocating for an agentive adoption of the term resilience by a political community, the aftermath of the fall of the Hittite empire in Anatolia is interpreted as an age of multiple regional political experiments, some inspired by resilience, some by reorganization, some other by transformation of the previous political landscape.
