A system of phase field equations of Penrose–Fife-type governing the dynamics of phase transitions with a conserved order parameter is considered. As in the original model, the heat flux is assumed to be given by the Fourier law. Existence of weak solutions is proved for the related initial–Neumann boundary value problem.
