Journalism does not only consist in reporting facts, but also in proposing axiological values (points of view, criticism, interpretations). The paper addresses the deontological questions implied by this twofold task of journalism and proposes an original model of analysis for assessing (and encouraging) the deontological fairness of journalistic communications.
