In this paper, I address the important and challenging remarks offered by Elvio Baccarini and Francesca Pasquali to my proposal for solving the justificatory dilemma of political liberalism. In replying to their observations, I clarify and defend two crucial aspects of my model of political legitimacy: i. the different justificatory roles played by the ideal phase and the non-ideal phase of the theory; ii. the epistemic dimension of political agency that I lay out relating to the concept of epistemic peerhood.

Abstract
In this paper, I address the important and challenging remarks offered by Elvio Baccarini and Francesca Pasquali to my proposal for solving the justificatory dilemma of political liberalism. In replying to their observations, I clarify and defend two crucial aspects of my model of political legitimacy: i. the different justificatory roles played by the ideal phase and the non-ideal phase of the theory; ii. the epistemic dimension of political agency that I lay out relating to the concept of epistemic peerhood.File in questo prodotto:
