José Gerbino (1886-1972) and Francisco Salamone (1897-1959) are two Sicilian architects born at the end of the 19th century who have worked all their lives in Argentina with important results. Although in vastly different cultural and professional fields, the works they have created have allowed them to write new pages of the history of Italian architecture in Argentina. This contribution aims to bring the reader closer to the analysis of the works they have created, and which are still the subject of research and analysis by numerous Latin American scholars. The contribution is divided into two sections dedicated respectively to the description of the works of José Gerbino and Francisco Salamone.
