The University and the Colleges (10 public and 8 private) make Pavia a city-campus, where the buildings for research, teaching activities, and student accommodation and services are spread in three campuses between downtown and the north-west area of the city. During the health crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Colleges worked together to allow the students the safe conditions to live and study, supported by the typological and morphological setup and by some simple and efficient rules to manage the common spaces in the colleges in order to respect physical distancing.
