The reuse of the abandoned building heritage is one of the most significant challenges of the third millennium, and it can have a significant impact on different aspects not only of the cities but also of society. The former Clinica Mondino was abandoned in 2003 and the University of Pavia developed different projects for its reuse (Department, College, etc.) recognizing the building’s potential. The final result is a library for the students of Law and Political Science.
