It interprets Gorz's against the background of post-workerist (especially Antonio Negri and Carlo Vercellone) reflections, highlighting both affinities and divergences between the two approaches. Particular emphasis is put on the different views on basic income as primary revenue: whereas for post-workerist thought basic income recognises a kind of productive labour which is socially unaccounted for, according to Gorz such procedure surreptitiously turn the multifarious aspects of life into labour.
