We here describe 2 patients, previously affected by post-infectious encephalomyelitis and myelitis, relapsing after flu immunisation; this observation suggests that post-infectious and post-vaccinal cases may share common pathogenetic mechanisms, reinforcing the debated issue of ADEM as an autoimmune disease.
