In Italy the 0-6 educational institutions have always been characterized as a split system; the 0-6 integrated system was born on a legislative level only recently (L n.107, 2015; Dlgs n. 65, 2017). To build an educational perspective 0-6 a pedagogy for play is proposed (Bondioli, Savio, 2020), theoretically founded on the recognition of play as a vital and existential experience for children. In line with this perspective some operational indications are illustrated regarding both the relationship with play as “promotion from inside" and the construction of educational paths from play itself.

Abstract
