This document presents the joint research project developed by the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence – CNR Italy, GRADST - Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of Split on the enhancement of heritage togir city in Croatia, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The area of intervention includes the analysis of the historical fabric and the enhancement of the camerlengo castle, the Tower of S. Marco and the sports area included among these historical monuments. The case is representative of the current issues of conservation and enhancement of the urban landscape, which combines transformation processes with recovery and re-functionalization actions for the environment, culture and improving economy. These actions involve forms of integration between territorial cultural policies.
