In this article, I will address the issue of the presence of Zimri-Limʼs name in the Hurrian text Mari 7+6, in order to establish his role within the text. This proves essential in trying to ascertain what type of text Mari 7+6 is, a topic that has been hitherto controversially debated due to the fragmentary nature of the text. After analyzing lines 13'-14', where the name of Zimri-Lim appears, I will argue that the king of Mari is addressed directly in this text, which should probably be a divine letter sent to him.

Abstract
In this article, I will address the issue of the presence of Zimri-Limʼs name in the Hurrian text Mari 7+6, in order to establish his role within the text. This proves essential in trying to ascertain what type of text Mari 7+6 is, a topic that has been hitherto controversially debated due to the fragmentary nature of the text. After analyzing lines 13'-14', where the name of Zimri-Lim appears, I will argue that the king of Mari is addressed directly in this text, which should probably be a divine letter sent to him.File in questo prodotto:
