The paper deals with an initial analysis of agricultural landscape and irrigation canals evolutions in Po Valley, with specific reference to the Pavia area. The analysis, a multidisciplinary study guided by history, digital drawing and survey of architecture, aims to lay basis for preservation and enhancement of place-specific features, currently “forgotten,” through a narrative that enhances the close connection between the construction of the landscape and that of collective identity memory.
