We carried out a systematic investigation on solvent-dependent spectroscopic and photophysical properties of diphenylamine (DPA) including singlet (ΔE(0,0)) and triplet (ΔE(triplet)) excited states as well as the triplet decay rate constant (kT), by following both single and multiparametric approaches. Analyses of the obtained data as well as the interpretation of sign and magnitude of the regression coefficients allowed for the understanding how the specific and non-specific solvent properties impact on the thermodynamic (ΔE) and kinetic (kT) parameters related to the photochemical behaviour of DPA.

Abstract
We carried out a systematic investigation on solvent-dependent spectroscopic and photophysical properties of diphenylamine (DPA) including singlet (ΔE(0,0)) and triplet (ΔE(triplet)) excited states as well as the triplet decay rate constant (kT), by following both single and multiparametric approaches. Analyses of the obtained data as well as the interpretation of sign and magnitude of the regression coefficients allowed for the understanding how the specific and non-specific solvent properties impact on the thermodynamic (ΔE) and kinetic (kT) parameters related to the photochemical behaviour of DPA.File in questo prodotto:
