The research of the Pavian Zoologists regards various levels of organization of living organisms, from the individual to populations, species, biocoenoses and ecosystems, both through laboratory and field- based studies. The results of the research find application in the fields of biodiversity conservation, parasite control and environmental toxicology. The lines of research belong to the following fields : population genetics and genomics, phylogenetics, systematics and taxonomy, anthropology and primatology, ethology, ecology, and ecotoxicology, conservational biology, and bioacoustics.
