The linguistic classification of Hungarian is briefly discussed on the basis of body-part terms (with particular reference to words for 'spleen' in different linguistic families and groups). Though body-part terms are more borrowable than commonly thought, Hungarian appears to be a quite conservative language in which a lot of cognates with Uralic languages can easily be found.
