The theoretical framework for cross section calculations of the (e, e′p) knockout reaction is outlined. Numerical results are presented for the exclusive 16O(e, e′p)15N reaction in a nonrelativistic and in a relativistic model based on the distorted wave impulse approximation (DWIA). Both nonrelativistic DWIA and relativistic RDWIA calculations are able to describe data. A consistent evaluation of different types of correlations is needed to determine the spectroscopic factors.

Abstract
The theoretical framework for cross section calculations of the (e, e′p) knockout reaction is outlined. Numerical results are presented for the exclusive 16O(e, e′p)15N reaction in a nonrelativistic and in a relativistic model based on the distorted wave impulse approximation (DWIA). Both nonrelativistic DWIA and relativistic RDWIA calculations are able to describe data. A consistent evaluation of different types of correlations is needed to determine the spectroscopic factors.File in questo prodotto:
