Abstract

Two cases of pontine ischaemia located in the distribution area of the perforating paramedian branches are reported. In both cases the lesion was documented by nuclear magnetic resonance whereas the CAT scan was normal in both patients. Clinical symptoms correlated well with the site and extent of the lesion documented by MR.
