Abstract
Centralized management of nutritional support by a multidisciplinary task force is an accepted and functional strategy in the hospital setting, which brings several advantages, including an increased medical staff's awareness of nutritional problems and the appropriate prescription of artificial nutrition support during hospitalization and at discharge. On the other hand, the preliminary results of our screening project in 1100 consecutive patients show a prevalence of hospital malnutrition of more than 30%, and thus remind us that our task is just at the beginning.File in questo prodotto:
