To evaluate results of reha bilitative treatment after surgical anastomosis V pro VII in facial palsy. Study design: retrospective cases series review. Repair of facial nerve paralysis, when cortical neural input can't be provided by facial nerve nucleus, is accomplished anastomizing the extracranial stump of the facial nerve to a motor donor nerve. The use of masseteric nerve as motor donor nerve were done in 1925, and a few anatomical studies on masseteric nerve followed, but no clinical series have been published yet.
