Abstract
For the first time, the inclusion complex of a radioactive anion (i.e. pertechnetate) was isolated and characterized. Unprecedented affinity for 99TcO4- in aqueous solution was observed with the p-xylyl azacryptand in the hexaprotonated form. The fitting of the anion within the cage’s cavity, the formation of multiple H-bond interactions with protonated amino groups are the main contributions to the stability of the adduct.File in questo prodotto:
