Abstract

Personal experience with the use of betamethasone, used orally in associated with various cytostatic drugs for inducing remission in acute lymphatic leucosis and some cases of lymphoproliferative disease is reported. The results obtained point to the effectiveness and tolerance of the drug, even in the high doses that are required to treat such blood diseases.
