Abstract

Calculation of one-loop electroweak corrections in the Sudakov approximation to the main irreducible background to new physics searches at the LHC, given by Z + multijet production in hadronic collisions. Original implementation of the Denner-Pozzorini algorithm in the event generator for multiparton processes ALPGEN, of primary interest for physics at the LHC.
