Simulations of the flow around two cylinders in tandem and side by side arrangements in uniform stream, obtained by classical eulerian Navier-Stokes integration and lagrangian random vortex method, are presented. Comparison with experiments performed in hydrodinamic tunnel allow to criticize the results and to foresee the strategies to get better simulations.

Abstract
