Efficient conversion of infrared cw radiation from 1064 nm to 532 nm is reported for a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser, intracavity doubled with a KTP crystal. Pumping with a 10-W fiber-coupled array, 5 W at 1064 nm are measured and as much as 1.9 W at 532 nm. Single-frequency operation is also observed.

Abstract

Efficient conversion of infrared cw radiation from 1064 nm to 532 nm is reported for a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser, intracavity doubled with a KTP crystal.
