The role of mediation of the Computer Algebra Systems (C.A.S.) in the learning of mathematics has been the subject of a wide debate, overall with respect to its potentiality of use and to the influence of its use on algebraic competencies. In this paper we presented a study carried out on 14 year old pupils, not expert in the algebraic transformation, to which we have suggested confronting, with the support of a C.A.S., some questions of divisibility and other problems whose generalization requires algebraic competencies
