This paper deals with a newly conceived control topology based on the Repetitive action in 4-leg VSI for stand-alone Ground Power Unit (GPU) applications. In such mode of operation, a dedicated controller has to regulate the inverter output voltages, which are measured at the output of the power filter. The proposed Repetitive Control can provide the required harmonic compensation capabilities that are mandatory to comply with the Standards especially in the aircraft field, when balanced and unbalanced, linear and non-linear loads have to be fed at the fundamental frequency of 400Hz. © 2017 IEEE.

Abstract

This paper deals with a newly conceived control topology based on the Repetitive action in 4-leg VSI for stand-alone Ground Power Unit (GPU) applications. In such mode of operation, a dedicated controller has to regulate the inverter output voltages, which are measured at the output of the power filter. The proposed Repetitive Control can provide the required harmonic compensation capabilities that are mandatory to comply with the Standards especially in the aircraft field, when balanced and unbalanced, linear and non-linear loads have to be fed at the fundamental frequency of 400Hz. © 2017 IEEE.
