The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure of the Friendship Quality Scale comparing a 5 factors model to a 2 factors model on the Italian sample. The Italian version of the scale was administered to 274 children (137 boys and 137 girls) with a mean age of 9.2 years (SD = .8 months). Confirmatory factorial analysis were performed. On the whole, results of descriptive and confirmative analysis showed good psychometric properties of both models. However, the 2 factors model showed a better fit with the data, whereas the 2 factors one was more parsimonious

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure of the Friendship Quality Scale comparing a 5 factors model to a 2 factors model on the Italian sample. The Italian version of the scale was administered to 274 children (137 boys and 137 girls) with a mean age of 9.2 years (SD = .8 months). Confirmatory factorial analysis were performed. On the whole, results of descriptive and confirmative analysis showed good psychometric properties of both models. However, the 2 factors model showed a better fit with the data, whereas the 2 factors one was more parsimoniousFile in questo prodotto:
