The topic of populating databases and using virtual platforms for the documentation and digital use of Cultural Heritage is growing in the contemporary cultural debate due to the speed of development of new technologies and the increasingly widespread experimentation and application of tools, methods and processes dedicated to this purpose. In this contribution we illustrate an introduction to the use of different digital technologies for documenting and acquiring data on tangible and immovable Cultural Heritage, focusing on the integration between georeferenced information systems and data acquired through censuses of technological elements of architecture and material pathologies. The case study to which the process is applied is the chapel of the Castiglioni Brugnatelli College in Pavia, a place of high cultural value for the city, but which is currently in a state of disuse and characterised by the presence of surface degradation and instability. The information system created for the experimentation is a three-dimensional environment, in which the digital model of the built element is partitioned into layers representing the different technological and construction systems. The topic of the census of material alterations is dealt with using a relational database, with visualisation and consultation of the data collected in the three-dimensional model imported from the georeferenced information system. In addition to the use of three-dimensional information systems for the documentation of the heritage, an immersive virtual information environment was realised via hotspots for the accessibility of the property in its current condition.
