Surfactants arevirtually used across allindustries where they can fulfill a multitude ofroles, such asdetergents, emulsifiers, and dispersants, aswell aswetting, foaming, and flotation agents. N-Acyl-N-alkyl-D-glucamides arenonionic surfactants that can besynthesized from inexpensive natural resources. They have abroad range ofhydrophilic− lipophilic balance (HLB) values, depending onthelength ofthealkyl chain. This chemical diversity and versatility allow customization ofsurfactant properties, making these chemicals useful for adiverse range ofindustrial purposes. Inthis work, six N-acyl-N-alkyl-Dglucamides have been prepared byexploiting immobilized scavengers and reagents inaflowbatch mode. Moreover, theinterfacial properties (both surface and interfacial tensions) of two selected glucamide-based surfactants were evaluated.
