Aim of the contribution is to discuss the themes of identity and memory in their impact on two specific case studies, namely the area of Lucus Feroniae in Sabine territory and the sector between southern Latium and northern Campania, where the important places of worship of two goddesses, Feronia and Marica, were located. The analysis of these two cases is preceded by a series of more general thoughts on the themes pro- posed by the workshop, and on how these themes can be interpreted in the context of studies on pre-Roman Italy.

Abstract
Aim of the contribution is to discuss the themes of identity and memory in their impact on two specific case studies, namely the area of Lucus Feroniae in Sabine territory and the sector between southern Latium and northern Campania, where the important places of worship of two goddesses, Feronia and Marica, were located. The analysis of these two cases is preceded by a series of more general thoughts on the themes pro- posed by the workshop, and on how these themes can be interpreted in the context of studies on pre-Roman Italy.File in questo prodotto:
