This proposed qualitative exploratory study examines organisational resilience in Gaza’s small and mediumsized manufacturing firms during wartime extremes. Using a QCA-informed multiple-case design, it focuses on the testing of potential success factors—operational slack, supply chain collaboration, flexible operations, and networking capabilities—and how disruption severity shapes their relevance. Through semi-structured interviews and cross-case comparison, the study will identify patterns of adaptation and the changing role of internal and relational capabilities under different disruption levels. It aims to generate configurational insights into resilience in resource-scarce conflict settings.
