Following the presentation of preliminary ideas regarding the construct of resilience and the Cooperative Learning model, we investigate the hypothesis that experiences of cooperative learning accomplished by competent teachers could develop students’ resilience skills. A collection of case studies are presented and discussed, in connection with some factors presented in literature as indicative of resilience. The case studies refer to secondary school students and show a clear evidence of a positive change in students’ attitude and actions, following cooperative experiences. The study yielded some preliminary conclusions which give consistency to the considered hypothesis and suggested further research.

Abstract
Following the presentation of preliminary ideas regarding the construct of resilience and the Cooperative Learning model, we investigate the hypothesis that experiences of cooperative learning accomplished by competent teachers could develop students’ resilience skills. A collection of case studies are presented and discussed, in connection with some factors presented in literature as indicative of resilience. The case studies refer to secondary school students and show a clear evidence of a positive change in students’ attitude and actions, following cooperative experiences. The study yielded some preliminary conclusions which give consistency to the considered hypothesis and suggested further research.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
