The annihilation frequency of the reaction pp ~ ~-°Tr° has been measured, for the first time by stopping antiprotons in a NTP hydrogen target. The obtained result f(pi0pi0)NTP = (12.7+0.5+-2.0) × 10^-4 is discussed in the frame of the study of the initial angular momentum of the pp system.

Abstract
