In this paper we examine Italian Complex Predicates of the type V+Obj (i.e. mettere fretta, chiedere aiuto, sporgere denuncia, prendere fuoco) and propose a representation based on the distribution of the analyzed combinations along a scale of coalescence between verb and object, measured against a number of syntactic and semantic parameters.
