A broadband power-matched passive mixer integrated in a 65nm CMOS technology suitable for mm-wave mixer-first receivers is analyzed. A “baseband” equivalent LTI circuit representation that can accurately predict mixer behavior in terms of input impedance, down-conversion gain, noise and linearity is presented, enabling accurate design equations. A significant improvement in the accuracy compared with previously reported LTI models is demonstrated.

Abstract
A broadband power-matched passive mixer integrated in a 65nm CMOS technology suitable for mm-wave mixer-first receivers is analyzed. A “baseband” equivalent LTI circuit representation that can accurately predict mixer behavior in terms of input impedance, down-conversion gain, noise and linearity is presented, enabling accurate design equations. A significant improvement in the accuracy compared with previously reported LTI models is demonstrated.File in questo prodotto:
