According to most present-day writings on change, we live in a time of turbulence. Lines of research contend that organizations must learn to adapt to changes or otherwise risk failure. A review of the vast literature reveals some themes that remain unconnected and underdeveloped in change research. We draw upon the systemic approach to further theorize about the nature of change and how to deal with it. This study proposes a change management model (the Process, Structure, Culture model) in organizational contexts and discusses its implications for managing change.
