We report on wavelength shifting in a poly-diacetylene-poly-3BCMU-planar waveguide. The effect, of relevance in the manipulation of optical signals, is obtained through nearly-degenerate frequency mixing (NDFWM) and is based on the nonresonant third order nonlinearity of the polymer.
